How do you divide fractions by fractions?
Question asked by: littlemiss
Asked on: 02 Jun 2008
To divide fractions by fractions is easy when you know the method.
All that you need to do is reverse the second one and use a multiplication sign.
Thus:
1/3 divided by 1/3
is the same as 1/3 x 3/1
So this is 3/3 = 1.
