How do you get candle wax off a wool carpet?

Question asked by: knowitall

To get candle wax off a carpet, you need to make sure that the wax is completely solid and scrape it off with a blunt blade for instance the edge of a spoon or similar.

If it is intertwined and you can't scoop it off, then you may need to heat it gently by holding it with your hands and warming it up or applying a bag of hot water so that it goes slightly liquidy, this may help it come off.
