How do you know whether to trust an Internet seller?
Question asked by: mrquestion

With so much fraud online it can be hard to know who to trust.
Well first look for big companies to use like Amazon if you are in doubt and buy direct rather than through marketplace sellers.
For other products, see if they have any bad feedback from customers - search google - and look to see if they have relevant association certificates if there are trade bodies for instance in the area they operate in.
When it comes to ecommerce always ensure it is secure and that the padlock symbol shows for added reassurance that all is above board.
