How do you write 28 as a product of prime numbers?
Question asked by: knowitall

Writing a number as the product of its prime numbers is something that is quite tricky to do and requires a little practice.
You need to work out the numbers that it can be divided by. So for instance what numbers can it be divided by that are primes? Well, it can be divided by 7 to get 4, and then 4 can be divided by two twice, so in other words it can be expressed as 7 x 2 x 2 = 28 and therefore this is 28 expressed as a product (multiple) of its primes.
