How many kinds of atoms is there in a lump of copper?
Question asked by: knowitall
In a lump of pure copper there will only be one type of atom, and that is copper atoms.
The reason for this is that copper is an element, and this means that it is one of the building blocks of other compounds and more complex molecules.
