How much does A give?

A has Rs.80 and B has Rs.40. How much should A give to B such that B ,now, has twice the money left with A?
Question asked by: mathmaster

The answer is 40, because this will swap over what they have so A now has 40 and B has 80, which is twice 40, which is what A has.
