How much does the Apprentice earn?

Unless things have changed then the Apprentice gets paid a sum of £100,000 and I believe is guaranteed to be employed by Sir Alan Sugar and his company which is called Amstrad or perhaps one of the subsidiaries for the period of at least a year.
I think some have left before that period perhaps but anyway that is what they are offered - after that I guess he gets rid of them or they leave!
