How much water should guinea pigs drink?
Question asked by: mrquestion

This depends, as a healthy guinea pig that is in its prime can derive most of its water from foods if for instance it eats lots of water containing foods like grass, dandelions and so on. If it has dry food then it will need relatively more water.
All you need to do is to attach a water bottle to its hutch so that the guinea pig can drink when it wants. Check the water level on a daily basis and replace it regularly too in order to keep the water fresh.
