How should I pick the colour scheme for my website?
Question asked by: mrquestion

The colour scheme for your website is something that is really quite personal to you.
That said, there are implications with different colours and some are associated with certain things.
For instance blues and whites are often associated with corporate, cool looking sites: you'll notice many big companies use these colours.
In contrast of course softer colours like pinks and browns are associated with perhaps more feminine touches so some websites that are magazines for women and so on will use these colours.
However the bottom line is to pick a colour scheme that is not too distracting, but is clear and highly visible so that it does not detract from the content on your site.
