I don't understand math - how can I get better?

Question asked by: knowitall

To get better at math will require you to practice and gain understanding of a method.

No amount of reading will help if you don't practice and understand the method.

Therefore consider tuition if you can afford it.

Also look at references and plenty of books as many explain things in a different way and you are sure to find one place that explains the method in a way that you understand.

If you really don't understand why you are doing what you do then in the worst case scenario just learn the method you need to follow. Not ideal but at least it can get you through exams!
