I like this guy, but he is 9 years older than me, iv never liked a guy so much, and i don't know what to do, plus he's my teacher; but i kind of get the feeling he likes me a little bit also, but i can't tell for sure?

I am a minority in holding the belief that love is love and age should not matter. in america, we hold different sociatal views about age and romance than in other countries. it is not rare at all in other parts of the world for young women to marry men much older. now, i must advise you that if you really do care about your teacher, you should leave him alone for now bc he could get in a much trouble if he were to pursue you. you do not say how old you are. if you are in college, it would be much more acceptable to his colleges and your fellow students/parents. if you are in highschool, understand that you have a world ahead of you full of experiences waiting. love is love. relish it, you must decide maturely at what distance...

The age difference isnt the issue here. The fact that this man is your teacher IS. You don\'t say how old you are, but you sound quite young, in which case you should keep well away from this potential relationship. This man is in a position of authority, and as such has a duty of care AS A TEACHER not as a boyfriend. He could lose his job if he were to pursue this any further, and maybe even face prison. You may be misconstruing his interest in you as a pupil, with a sexual interest. If there is an attraction between you, then wait until you have left school, when it will be legal. As I said initially, the age gap isn\'t an issue in the slightest, but if you like this man, then let him keep his job, and tell him you like him (if you still do) at a later dateBy: daisylea
