I need to update my password monthly how should I do it?

There are many methods.
The best way in terms of being most secure would be to have a completely new password each time and to make it random.
However, many find that this is tricky, and therefore in practice many have their set password then increment the number at the end of the password each time.
For instance if you had the password sdfsjkhe1 for the first month then the second month you would put 2 at the end, then 3 and so on. If you work at a company for a long time then that number could end up getting into three figures!
