# I need to write 3% as a common fraction, in the lowest terms, what does it mean please anyone?

Question asked by: cati25

To turn from percentages to fractions is easy, as it just means per 100, which is the same as dividing by 100.

So this is therefore 3% = 3/100, which as we know is a fraction. This cannot be written any more simply so is the answer to your question.
