I want to become a politician so what job should I do to help with that?

Well all politicians in the UK seem to either be career politicians these days, or to have come through a job such as a solicitor, a lawyer, a civil servant or someone who works on one of those millions of dull quangos or other government bodies and think tanks and so on.
However with the current backlash against politicians all being on the take and fiddling their expenses and public trust and confidence in the abilities of their MPs then you may want to think twice about getting into politics in the current climate unless you have a thick skin!
