Is it odd to be male and want to be a nurse?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Not odd, just rare!
The fact is that most nurses are by weight of number female and when people think of a nurse I think they automatically think of a woman just because that's what we always associate with nursing.
However times are changing, there are now a lot of male nurses, and there is certainly no reason at all why a man should not be a nurse, so if you are male and want to be a nurse then my advice is to go for it and good luck!
