Is modelling a part time job?

Many people do modelling on a part time basis, though this could possibly be because they cannot get enough work to do it full time.
But certainly if you make it then you can work part time as you get paid a handsome sum for each piece of work so you may only need the occasional job to get the money to live, though for most models it is a full time job as although photoshoots may not be all that often there will be castings and pitching yourself to get the job on a quite frequent basis.
