Is online networking a waste of time?
Question asked by: mrquestion

It depends what you do and how you do it is the answer to that.
If by online networking you just engage in silly debates with people about pointless trivilaities then yes, but if however on the other hand you decide to answer questions on your area of expertise and are generally helpful, take the time to get to know people and are not in a rush, you can make good quality contacts, make friends, and you never know when those could lead to business somewhere down the line.
