Is sudoku a maths or a logic puzzle?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009

Good question this!
Most people think that sudoku is a maths puzzle because it contains numbers however there is no maths involved at all.
Therefore sudoku is a pure logic puzzle as there are no mathematical rules that are required in the solving of the puzzle - no addition or anything like that unless you are playing one of the variant puzzles like killer sudoku.
