Is the presenter of Canada's Next Top Model American?

I'm not sure if his name but it is Jay and I think it is Jay Emmanuel or something like that (not sure of surname spelling).
Anyway he is the presenter of Canada's Next Top Model so I think he is probably canadian, the confusion could come because he does the photoshoots on the American version of the show.
