Is there a spot test to detect chemicals in a tire?

Yes, depending on the chemicals that you believe to be present in the tire there are various spot tests that may be done.

The best bet to find out with regard the specific chemical that you are looking to test for is to go down to your local garage or auto trade centre and ask an expert the best method with regard that particular chemical to see what options are available to you. Good luck!
