Is there life in the solar system?
Question asked by: mrquestion

This is a question that has occupied us for a long old time!
And the answer is nowhere near to coming for sure, but there are positive signs that some moons of the gas giants that hold water either on or more likely under the surface could harbour simple life forms.
So if you mean single celled life then there seems to be a fair chance that there will be, however unless something fairly drastic happens it would seem that the chance of there being multi-cellular life in the solar system is very slim indeed.
