Is there really such a thing as love?

Yes there is such a thing as love, only a real cynic would say that there was no such thing, or of course someone who is sadly jaded from past bad experiences.
The thing about love is that it can be a real up and down rollercoaster, sometimes great and sometimes bad, it leads to highs and lows that are hard to match in any other way. But as for whether it exists, there are people all over the world who will tell you love is as real as anything.
