It's not steel but I have hair dye on my heater & also a burn mark. Any suggestions in how to get it off or maybe some sort of paint to cover it??....HELP!

Sounds complicated.
Maybe you should go and ask at the local diy store what they recommend or even try contacting the manufacturer they might be able to give advice from other people with the same problem on what to do in that situation... good luck with it!
