Look for a small animal

Where are you looking and what is the animal?
It depends where it is and what it is... if in the house then try to entice it out from say under the sofa with its favourite food.
When the small animal gets hungry hopefully it will come out looking for food. If it has run out the house or left completely then you might not find it again.
