Question asked by: stevieb
There are many subatomic particles.
Some of these are as follows:
The neutron: this has no charge and is in the nucleus or centre of the atom
The proton: charge of +1 which is also in the centre of the atom like the neutrons
The electron: there are loads of these which whizz around the nucleus of an atom and they have a charge of -1 and are a few thousands times less in mass terms than the proton and neutron
