NEXT NUMBER PLEASE

I AM DOING MY HOMEWORK AND IT IS 5, 13, 31,65 AND SO ON
Question asked by: ECOTYRES

Asked on: 17 Sep 2008

With a sequence like 5, 13, 31,65 a good trick is to look at the difference between terms and see if this offers any help.

So the differences are 8 then 18 then 34. Then between these is 10 and then 16. So we double it and add five to get 135.
