An aeroplane travels 300km/h due west in still air. A wind is blowing at 90km/h from the south west. Calculate the following: 1. The sirection in which the pilot must steer in order to travel due north. 2. The velocity in relation to the ground.

Just draw these to form two sides of a triangle on a piece of paper then calculate the line that will complete the triangle.
