Planes in maths

I am doing geometry hw question is points d,e,and f lie in plane def. How many lines in plane DEF can you draw that contain both points D and E

Do the lines have to be straight or cuved? If it is straight lines then is there not only one straight line between any two points in standard Euclidean geometry?
