Plate tectonics

What would happen to the width of the southern part of the pacific plate if the relative plate motion increased at the western boundary but, while the relative speed of plate motion remained the same at the eastern boundary. What implications could this have on the rest of earth.

This sounds like a tough one!

I would recommend talking to a geologist or someone with knowledge of plate movements and plate tectonics to get an accurate response to this one...
