Projectiles

projectile fired from a cannon to hit a target located on top of cliff 75.0 meters above and 350.0 meters from the cannon. What is the speed of the projectile and the cannon is shooting at an angle of 40 degrees

Speed is equal to distance divided by time.

Therefore just work out at the 40 degree angle what the distance travelled was, and as we know the time that it took that one divided by the other will give you the speed.
