Should I leave work to stop the stress I'm feeling?

Question asked by: mrquestion

If you are feeling stressed at work then leaving is quite a drastic step and you should look at all other options first.

For instance is there something you can do to reduce stress at work - by taking on less projects, or extending the timescales, or getting someone else involved with the projects. Talking to a good boss should be able to help mitigate the amount of work you have and therefore help to manage stress.

If there is nothing that can be done and you feel your health is being impacted negatively then it could be a positive step to leave.
