Should I set up as a company or a sole trader?
Question asked by: knowitall

It depends on you and your needs, it really does.
Companies have more responsibility but it could be argued there is more kudos and also other companies are often more comfortable dealing with other companies from the legal point of view and perhaps the added security that they perceive there is when dealing with other companies.
As a sole trader there may be less legal requirements on you to follow so you can always start out as that and change entity if you perceive the need in the future.
