Simplify each of the following writing the answer as a single fraction in its simplest form

2a+1 + 3a+2 2 6

So you have 2a+1 + 3a+226 and want to express it simply.

Well 2a + 3a is 5a so you get
5a+1+227 which gives 5a + 228 as the simplest form of your equation
