The area of a rectangle is 50 and the perimeter is 32 Calculate the dimensions of the rectangle to 2 decimal places (You must show your method).

Area is width x height which is 50
Perimeter is 2w + 2h = 32
From these you need to work out the width and the height, so w + h = 16 by dividing through by two.
So we get:
w + h = 16
w x h = 50
Then you can solve it.
