The contractile vacuole is found in what?
Question asked by: knowitall
Ah yes the good old contractile vacuole takes us all back to our biology homework at school except back in them those days we didn't have the internet to look up answers on, what on earth did we do in those days, who knows!
Anyhow the answer that you are looking for is that this is found in certain organelles to pump out water such as freshwater protozoa.
This will probably bring to mind things like sponges and you would be right to think that they would be an example of this.
