The great circle at zero degrees latitude is know by what name?
Question asked by: knowitall
I assume that you are talking about the Equator?
Of course it is not literally a great circle as it is an arbitrary man made concept to help us bring order and structure to our system of co-ordinates.
However, losely, the Equator is no doubt the answer that your geography teacher is after in this instance though his question is poorly worded!
