The industrial revolution

explain the causes of the first industrial revolution that occurred in england and throughout europe and the united stats?
Question asked by: lucero

The industrial revolution was from around 1700 - 1850.

The reason that this happened is simply because there were lots of inventions that people came up with all around the same time, and powerful forces such as steam were starting to be exploited fully for the first time making the machine industry possible.

Britain exported its know how to the rest of the world; and it is basically Britain that has shaped the modern world as we see it, without the industrial revolution here we would all be a hundred years or possibly even more behind around the world, Britain started it all off.
