The ratio of girls to boys is 13:12 there are 572 girls how many altogether

So we know there are 12 boys for every 13 girls.

Therefore if there 572 girls, then then we do 572 / 13.

This gives us 44. So we now know that there are 12 x 44 boys = a total of 528 boys.
