Too Late To Plant?

My mum gave me a Jasmin and a honeysuckle in August which are still in their pots. Is it too late to plant them outside now? I live in Scotland.

Answer about the plants in pots.
no, it is not to late. containerised plants can be planted all year round so long as the ground is still slightly warm and not hard due to severe/bad weather conditions like frost.
it won't do any harm to leave them till the spring either when conditions are more favourable and you can give them a feed to give them a good start in the ground when planted.

p.s. need a bit more info just email

kind regards gerry
