UK BC?

What was life like in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, N.Ireland) BC (over 2,000 years ago)? Did we have any advanced culture we can claim our own. how big was paganism prior to the christian invasion? what kind of housing did we have? most of what one reads, would make lead one to think we were caveman-like. Any information or pointers would be welcome.

Life was very different back in those days, with no modern technology.

Life was nasty, life was brutish, and life was short. The diet was a lot worse, people were shorter, more barbaric, and life expectancy was a lot less. Technology was primitive and many people lived a basic lifestyle with simple dwellings.

The Celtic peoples were in Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
