Vibration is necessary to produce sound. How?
Question asked by: parass

Sound waves and sound are the manifestation of particle vibrations.
That's why you can't hear anything in space because it is a vacuum, and so there are no molecules to vibrate to enable the sound to move from one place to another by vibration of the molecules.
