Water level comparison

Will level of rain water collected in two different cylindrical containters ls positioned at same ground level for same time be same or different
Question asked by: Aarif1972

Asked on: 30 Jul 2009

The level of the water may be different in the two containers, for instance a very narrow container will have water at a higher level than a container that has a very wide base.

However, the total amount of water that is collected should be the same, if the surface area of the neck of the container is the same.
