What are the positive points of javascript?
Question asked by: mrquestion

There are many positive points.
First virtually all web browsers have a javascript engine and so will respond to javascript and support is a lot better than the old days.
Secondly it is easy to learn and to write and there are thousands of resources. In fact you need know very little as there are many scripts out there that will do most common tasks so in many cases pretty much all you need to do is perform the right search then copy and paste code assuming that it is not copyright!
It is reasonably quick within web browsers to execute most simple scripts too and so therefore is an ideal choice for adding interactivity.
