What are the properties of metals
Question asked by: my02dogs

Metals have lots of physical and chemical properties.
They tend to be shiny, they tend to be solid at room temperature (apart from mercury).
They will react with non-metals with ionic bonds where they donate electrons to the non-metal, and the compounds are salts such as sodium chloride which is common salt.
They tend to be malleable and also ductile. These are some of the common properties of metals.
