What are the rules of the game bridges?
Question asked by: knowitall

Bridges is a fun puzzle game.
You start with a number of circles on a grid, each with a number in, for instance 1, 2, 3 and so on.
Each circle is said to be an island and the grid is the water. You need to create bridges between islands according to these rules:
Each island has the number of bridges it indicates, e.g. a '2' means two bridges.
Bridges can only go horizontally or vertically and cannot cross each other; with a maximum 2 direct bridges between one island and another.
You must be able to travel from any island to another using only bridges in a finished puzzle.
It takes some getting used to but is great fun to complete once you do get the hang of the puzzle, also known as hashi.
