What are the usual hours for a office worker?

There is no such thing as the usual hours but that said most people would probably think of 9 - 5 as being the usual hours.
However with flexible working, people adopting practices like working at home and so on, then this can change quite a lot. But in general people will work some sort of hours between 8 - 6, perhaps for instance 8.30 - 4.30 it really depends.
In some companies it is seen as "good" to work much longer hours.
