What clothes should I wear to an interview?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009

I always think that the key to dressing for an interview is to be smart.
It is always better to be too smart than too scruffy at an interview so err on the side of caution, unless you know for sure that casual dress is fine (probably for things like computer software jobs for instance!)
So for men wear a suit and also a tie, nice polished shoes and perhaps even cufflinks.
Women should wear a smart trouser suit or skirt and shirt, whack on a smart pair of medium sized heels and do your make up nicely, brush your hair and generally make it looka s if you have made an effort.
