What does SOHCAHTOA mean?
Question asked by: mrquestion

SOHCAHTOA is one of those things you learn at school that tends to stay with you - unlike to be honest most things which tend to be forgotten about not so long after you learn them in the first place!
This stands for Sine = Opposite / Hypotenuse, whilst Cosine = Adjacent / Hypotenuse and Tan = Opposite / Adjacent
These are used in trigonometry when calculating things like angles inside the triangle.
