What does the kelvin scale measure?
Question asked by: mrquestion

The kelvin scale is a scale of temperature.
It was invented by the chemist called Kelvin, and so therefore it takes his name.
Whilst in the real world we all tend to use celsius or fahrenheit, in the world of science they tend to use kelvin. This is because it is standardised for all so they don't need to switch between the other two systems, and also the range is convenient for use in scientific language.
