What does the M in MTV mean?

This is a nice easy one!
The answer is that MTV stands for Music Television as indeed makes sense and is credited as being the first music only tv channel out there.
What is interesting and ironic is that these days there is hardly any music it seems at times on the channel and rather lots of music related TV shows.
